Medicare Supplement
Medicare supplements can be very confusing. What is covered? What is not covered? When can I enroll? Will the plan work with my doctors? Which plan is best?
Unlike other agents, I work for you and not an individual insurance company. I am licensed with all major insurance carriers, so I can place you in a plan that is tailored to your specifications. Once I understand your needs, I will help you to implement the best solution. Since Medicare supplement plans and premiums change each year, I can ensure that you are always in the best plan to suit your needs.
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage is an alternative way to get your original Medicare benefits. Often known as Part C, Medicare Advantage plans combine Medicare Part A, Part B, and usually Part D (prescription drug) into one plan. Medicare Advantage plans often include extra benefits such as dental, vision, and hearing.
There are different types of Medicare Advantage plans: HMO, PPO, PFFS, and SNPs all of which are offered through each company.
Choosing the right Medicare Advantage plan is a very important decision that affects your finances and your healthcare. Contact me for an unbiased recommendation based on your individual needs.
Prescription Drug Plans
Medicare Part A and Part B cover most of your health care costs, but they do not cover prescriptions that you pick up at the pharmacy. It is recommended you purchase a Part D plan through a private insurer to cover these expenses.
On average, you will have about 23 different prescription drug plan options. Each plan has a unique formulary with different cost sharing amounts for medications.
It is important to review your prescription plan every year as formularies change annually. Working together, I will ensure that your prescription plan is up to date each year.
Health Insurance
Navigating individual health insurance can be overwhelming and confusing. Should you purchase health insurance through the federal health insurance marketplace or should you purchase private insurance?
I am here to help you design a health plan that best suits your individual needs.
Long Term Care
Medicare does not cover long term care costs and according to government statistics, 7 in 10 individuals will need some type of long term care services. A 2015 study by the Department of Health and Human services estimated that the average senior will need $138,000 worth of long term care services. There are three ways to cover long term care services: private pay, Medicaid, or a Long Term Care policy. Together, we can design a long term plan to protect your assets and allows you flexibility in the selection of your future care.
Life Insurance
Life insurance is an important tool that can not only help protect loved ones financially, but can also be a sound financial decision. Life insurance can be used to cover final burial expenses, as well as final medical and legal expenses.
Term and Whole life are the two most common types of life insurance. I am here to help you navigate your options and create a plan that best meets your long term goals.
